Ferguson Flats is named after Monta Ferguson who owned the Turner House during the Great Depression and World War II. Ferguson subdivided the property into a boarding house during early WWII and the Oak Cliff Lutheran Church. The Turner House is now owned by the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts. It is one of the few original structures still standing from before WWI. This historic house reflects the rich history and changes in the Oak Cliff area.\nWe have done our best to capture some of that history in within the walls of Ferguson Flats.
