Boeing's largest division is headquartered in Renton, with large aircraft manufacturing plants in Everett and Renton. These companies, and the push for the biotechnology industry, make Seattle an advantageous city in which to find a job.
Colleges and Universities in Seattle, WashingtonThe University of Washington is the largest school in the Pacific Northwest, with over 40,000 students. It is also ranked among the top research universities in the United States. Most prominent of the city's other universities are Seattle University, and Seattle Pacific University. Other schools, such as City University, Antioch University Seattle, Cornish College of the Arts and North Seattle, Seattle Central, and South Seattle Community Colleges round out the extensive educational opportunities available to residents of Seattle.
