The trip into Houston will take about an hour to an hour and a half, depending on traffic, which is just a little more than from your average commuter time for Houston suburbs. The main transportation routes in and out of Rosenberg are the major highways of 59 and 90. 59 will take you into Houston, while 90 can be a more indirect route into Houston and the 610 loop via Richmond, Sugar Land, and Missouri City.

Your choices will probably be whether to orient yourself closer to Highway 59 or Highway 90. 90 has a slightly worse reputation for traffic jams, however, if your destination is closer to 90 or 610, than it will probably still be more advantageous for you to choose an apartment closer to 90, such as Ashton-Oaks Rosenberg on Radio Lane, Brittany Square on Reading Road, Victoria Garden on Lane Drive, and Pecan Park on Westwood Drive. For option closer to 59, try Carriage Glen on City Hall Drive, or Bayou Bend on Airport Avenue. You might also want to check out rentals in neighboring Richmond or Sugar Land.

Things to Do in Rosenberg

Rosenberg has a number of old Texas style historical buildings you can take a look at. Rosenberg's parks, including the largest, Seabourne Creek Park, offer picnic facilities, playgrounds, bird watching, swimming pools, sports facilities, wetlands, and hiking and biking trails. Brazos Bend State Park, the nearest of the many Texas state parks, is only a short drive away, and is nearly 5,000 acres of wildlife, camping, trails, and wetlands. This park is definitely the place to see alligators, although you had best give them their space.
