There are five main sections of Portland. Downtown Portland lies in the Southwest section and centers on Pioneer Courthouse Square. This area is filled with parks, museums, businesses and Portland State University. Beyond downtown are the campuses of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Lewis & Clark College, and Portland Community College/Sylvania. Portland Transportation

Portland apartment renters have multiple options for getting around the city. TriMet operates most of the region's buses and the Metropolitan Area Express, or MAX, light rail system, which connects the city and suburbs.
