city. However, it still has a small-town feel. Charlotte is often deemed one

Young professionals often call the Dilworth neighborhood home, with its

district for both Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte is also in
Uptown. Uptown Charlotte is currently in the midst of a construction and

200,000 residents and is the home of the University of North Carolina at
Charlotte.

Sports in Charlotte, North Carolina
NASCAR is the favorite sport for many in Charlotte and the Lowe's Motor
Speedway is home to two of NASCAR's largest races. If you're interested in
football, the National Football League's (NFL) Carolina Panthers call
Charlotte home. Joining them is the National Basketball Association's (NBA)
Charlotte Bobcats who compete at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Uptown.
