Lawrenceville is a little over 30 miles northeast of Atlanta, near the intersection of transportation routes 85, 316, 20, and 29. It's neighboring communities include Grayson, Loganville, Auburn, Dacula, Snellville and Winder. Lawrenceville has a population of about  29,000.  It's a diverse community with about 69% of it White, 13% Black, 12% Hispanic, and 2% Asian. You'll hear a good bit of Spanish and Asian languages spoken in certain parts of town. Things to Do in Lawrenceville

The Mall of Georgia is between Buford and Lawrenceville. It's the second largest mall in the southeast, with 2.2 million square feet. This includes an outdoor concert pavilion and a skatepark. There are a number of historical buildings downtown that you can stroll past. Lawrenceville hosts the annual Gwinnett County Fair every fall, with the usual livestock judging and shows, and competition of rural skills, such as canning and pie making.
